BaerCoil BSW thread inserts are precision-engineered stainless steel reinforcements designed to strengthen threaded joints in metal parts. Ideal for engineers, machinists, and serious hobbyists, they deliver durable wear resistance and reliable thread performance in 1 1/8" diameter, 7 threads per inch (BSW) applications, with an engagement length of 1.5 times the nominal diameter.

Size: BSW, 1 1/8" major diameter, 7 threads per inch; length configured to 1.5 × D for robust engagement.
Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304) with tensile strength ≥ 1400 N/mm² for strong, corrosion-resistant performance.
Cross‑section: Rhombic profile achieved by cold‑form swaging, maximizing surface contact and maximizing usable thread depth in confined spaces.
Corrosion and heat resistance: Stainless steel construction provides improved resistance to corrosion and elevated temperatures compared with many conventional fasteners.
Wear and load performance: Optimized thread engagement reduces abrasion and distributes load more evenly, extending the life of the host material and the joint.
Manufacturing precision: Tight tolerances ensure consistent fit, reliable installation, and repeatable performance across assemblies.

BaerCoil inserts deliver a durable, repeatable, and space-efficient thread reinforcement.
