Learn more about Klarna
Description
BaerCoil Thread Insert BSW 1 1/8 x 7 is a high-strength, stainless steel threaded insert designed to deliver durable, reliable internal threads in metal components. Built for engineers, machinists, and maintenance professionals, it offers improved longevity and torque retention in demanding environments.
- Size: BSW 1 1/8" diameter with 7 threads per inch
- Material: AISI 304 stainless steel with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2
- Cross-Section: Rhombic profile produced by cold-form swaging for maximum space utilization and even load transfer
- Manufacturing Method: Cold-form swaging creates a precise, durable internal geometry
- Corrosion and Heat Resistance: Stainless steel construction offers strong resistance in challenging environments
- Surface Finish: Optimized internal finish reduces installation friction and promotes smooth thread engagement
- Wear and Abrasion Resistance: Enhanced performance for long-lasting threaded connections
BaerCoil inserts provide a robust, reusable threaded path that protects host materials from thread stripping and wear. The rhombic cross-section distributes loads more evenly, improving resistance to vibration and dynamic loads while maintaining a clean, smooth bore for consistent torque and ease of assembly. With stainless steel 304 composition, these inserts resist corrosion and heat, making them suitable for automotive, machinery, and equipment applications where reliability is critical and downtime matters. Whether repairing damaged threads or strengthening new installations, this BaerCoil insert helps you achieve durable, dependable connections that endure in demanding conditions.
