Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide bar built for full-radius grooving and versatile turning. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter and a 1 mm groove width, plus a 15 mm reach in a left-hand orientation, it enables precise grooves on tight, small-to-mid sized workpieces.
This tool family supports two coating/grade options to match your material needs: BXC is a PVD TiN coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and works well with a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating, delivering extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting for general-purpose performance across materials.
- Compact full-radius grooving geometry: Designed for full-radius groove work with a 6.1 mm minimum diameter and 1 mm groove width, plus a 15 mm reach in a left-hand configuration for access to tight features.
- Dual coating grades for material versatility: Choose BXC TiN-coated for low-speed grooving on stainless steels, or BMK’s sub-micron, triple-coated grade for high heat resistance and smooth cutting across a broad material range.
- K20-grade carbide with proven durability: Built from robust carbide to maintain stable cutting performance and long tool life in demanding turning and grooving applications.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
