Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precision small-diameter holes. With a 3.1 mm minimum diameter, 15 mm reach, and an R0.1 left‑hand geometry, it’s built for tight bores and reliable turning across a range of materials. Primarily intended for boring, this tool can also handle general turning tasks, making it a versatile addition to any shop. It offers two coated grades to match material and speed needs: BMK for high-performance cutting and BXC for efficient, low-speed operation.
- Compact bore-capable geometry: 3.1 mm minimum diameter and 15 mm reach with left-hand cutting; ideal for tight bores and deep pockets while delivering consistent hole quality.
- BMK grade with triple PVD coating: Sub-micron carbide with advanced coating provides high heat resistance and smooth cutting for reliable performance across a wide range of materials.
- BXC TiN-coated grade for low-speed cutting and stainless steels: Optimized for lower cutting speeds and stainless steels, helping reduce wear and maintain steady finishes during machining.
This tool combines precise small-diameter capability with durable coatings designed for real-world shop environments. The result is faster setup, longer tool life, and repeatable, clean finishes in boring and turning applications. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
