The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact solid carbide boring bar designed for precise internal bores and general turning. With a 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 15 mm reach, and a left-hand R0.2 corner radius, it fits into tight pockets and maintains stable cutting geometry for consistent results. Built for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists alike, this tool blends small size with reliable performance.
Available in two advanced coating grades, BXC and BMK, this tool covers a broad material range, including stainless steels. BXC is a PVD TiN coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and works well with stainless steels (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40). BMK is a sub-micron grade with a triple PVD coating (ISO K10–K20) offering extremely high heat resistance and a smooth cutting experience for general-purpose use across materials.
- Two advanced carbide grades for broad material compatibility: BXC provides efficient low-speed performance on stainless steels, while BMK delivers superior heat resistance and smooth cuts for tougher or high-temperature applications, giving you the right option for each job.
- Coatings engineered for durability and finish: PVD TiN and triple-PVD coatings reduce wear, resist heat buildup, and help maintain consistent surface quality over longer tool life, improving repeatability between runs.
- Compact geometry for tight bores and precise results: 6.1 mm minimum diameter, 15 mm reach, left-hand orientation, and R0.2 radius enable clean entry and stable cutting in confined spaces, boosting bore accuracy and reducing setup time.
