The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, solid carbide boring bar designed for precision boring and general turning tasks. With a 5.1 mm minimum diameter, a 15 mm reach, and a left-hand configuration (R0.1), it fits into tight bores while delivering consistent geometry and finish.
This tool line offers two coating grades to match your workpiece and speed: BXC, a PVD TiN coated grade optimized for low cutting speeds and stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); and BMK, a sub-micron grade with an advanced PVD triple coating (ISO K10-K20) for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting across materials.
- Ultra-compact carbide design for tight bores: The small 5.1 mm diameter and 15 mm reach enable access to confined cavities while maintaining rigid, precise cuts for clean bore holes.
- Low-friction BXC TiN coating for stainless steel: TiN coating reduces wear and heat at low-speed cuts, delivering longer tool life and smoother finishes on stainless steels and similar alloys.
- BMK high-heat performance with triple coating: Sub-micron BMK grade with advanced PVD triple coating provides exceptional heat resistance and a consistent, smooth cutting action across a wide range of materials.
Together, these features translate into dependable, repeatable performance for boring and general turning. The compact geometry combined with specialized coatings helps you reduce tool changes, minimize rework, and achieve reliable hole quality and surface finish, enhancing overall productivity and workflow in everyday machining tasks.
