The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a precision boring bar crafted from solid carbide, designed for small-diameter bore work and capable of handling general turning tasks. With a 1 mm minimum diameter, 4 mm reach, and a precise R0.05 nose radius, it delivers tight tolerances and clean hole quality in confined spaces.
This tool is offered in two high-performance coating options to match your material and speed requirements. The BXC grade features a PVD TiN coating optimized for lower cutting speeds and excellent compatibility with stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). The BMK grade uses a sub-micron core with an advanced triple PVD coating for exceptional heat resistance and smoother cutting across a broad range of materials. Together, they provide reliable performance in demanding machining scenarios.
- Ultra-compact size for tight bores: A 1 mm minimum diameter and 4 mm reach enable precise, controlled cutting in small-diameter cavities and short overhangs, improving hole accuracy and surface finish.
- Two high-performance coatings for versatile materials: Choose BXC TiN for steady results at lower speeds on stainless steels, or BMK’s triple PVD coating for high-heat, high-performance cutting across a wider material set.
