Dormer Pramet A130 17/32 Inch HSS ST MORSE TAPER SHANK STANDARD LENGTH DRILL DIN 345

The Dormer Pramet A130 17/32 Inch HSS Morse Taper Shank Standard Length Drill (DIN 345) is a versatile drill bit designed for direct mounting in machine spindles. With a 17/32" diameter and a Morse taper shank, it fits securely in compatible drills and milling machines for consistent performance across a range of materials.

Made from premium HSS, this drill is suitable for drilling steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, delivering reliable starts and clean holes. The 118° conventional point (thinned for strength and easy regrind) combined with a protective steam oxide finish minimizes edge buildup and enhances longevity, while a patented Silver ring confirms genuine Dormer quality and shows the diameter at a glance.

• 118° conventional point, thinned for a strong, re-grindable edge: This design provides crisp starts and long edge life, with easy re-sharpening to minimize downtime in the workshop.
• Steam oxide finish for reduced sticking and better chip flow: Keeps the cutting edge cleaner during drilling, improving hole quality and extending tool life.
• Silver ring for authenticity and easy diameter identification: Patented marking verifies genuine Dormer quality and lets you read the drill size at a glance, reducing errors on the shop floor.

In daily workflow, the A130 drill supports consistent, reliable performance across common metals with straightforward mounting in spindles. Its robust HSS construction and clear authenticity marking help you complete jobs faster, with fewer tool changes and greater confidence in drill life and accuracy.
