Dormer Pramet A130 17.75 mm HSS ST MORSE TAPER SHANK STANDARD LENGTH DRILL DIN 345

The Dormer Pramet A130 17.75 mm HSS Morse Taper Shank Standard Length Drill (DIN 345) is a versatile high-speed steel drill designed for direct spindle mounting in machine tools. With a Morse taper shank and DIN 345 standard length, it delivers secure, precise holes across a range of materials, making it suitable for workshops, job shops, and maintenance tasks. The 17.75 mm diameter is clearly indicated by the patented Silver Ring for easy identification on the tool rack.

Designed for reliability and ease of use, it features a 118-degree conventional point (point thinned) that creates a strong starting bite and is easy to re-grind, and a steam oxide finish that helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the edge. The premium HSS construction supports drilling in steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, delivering durable performance for everyday drilling tasks.

• Strong, regrind-friendly 118° point: Provides a reliable start and maintains sharpness, reducing rework and improving hole accuracy.
• Steam oxide finish reduces sticking: Minimizes built-up material on the cutting edge for cleaner cuts and longer tool life across common metals.
• Morse taper shank with DIN 345 standard length: Enables secure mounting directly in compatible machine spindles for versatile, dependable performance.

With this drill, you gain a reliable, efficient tool that supports quick setup, reduces downtime, and delivers clean, accurate holes across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. The direct-spindle compatibility and durable HSS composition help improve workflow consistency, while the authentic Dormer design and diameter visibility from the Silver Ring provide confidence you’re selecting the right tool for jobs big or small.
