Dormer Pramet A130 47/64 Inch HSS ST MORSE TAPER SHANK STANDARD LENGTH DRILL DIN 345

The Dormer Pramet A130 drill is a standard-length HSS drill with a ST Morse taper shank, sized at 47/64 inch in diameter and manufactured to DIN 345 specifications. Designed for machine tools that hold the drill directly in the spindle, it delivers reliable performance across a range of common materials.

It features an 118-degree conventional point (point thinned) that forms a strong, easy-to-regrind tip, and a steam oxide finish that helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge. The patented Silver ring provides clear evidence of genuine Dormer quality and marks the drill diameter for quick setup and verification.

• Re-sharpenable 118° point: The thinned point creates a strong start and is easy to re-grind, reducing downtime and maintaining precise hole starts.
• Steam oxide anti-stick finish: Surface treatment minimizes material buildup on the edge, delivering cleaner holes and longer tool life across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
• Silver ring authenticity and diameter cue: The patented ring confirms genuine Dormer quality and clearly identifies the 47/64 in diameter for fast, confident spindle setup.

This drill is a versatile, reliable choice for workshops and production environments. The premium HSS core handles a variety of metals with consistent performance, while the Morse taper shank ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fit in compatible spindles. With straightforward setup and durable construction, it helps you achieve dependable hole quality, minimize downtime, and keep projects moving forward—from quick repairs to precision manufacturing.
