Dormer Pramet A130 9/16 Inch HSS ST MORSE TAPER SHANK STANDARD LENGTH DRILL DIN 345

Dormer Pramet A130 9/16 Inch HSS Morse Taper Shank Standard Length Drill (DIN 345) is a versatile metalworking drill designed for direct spindle mounting in machine tools. With a robust 118-degree conventional point that’s thinned for strength and easy re-grinding, it delivers reliable starts and consistent hole quality across a range of materials.

Ideal for engineers, buyers, technicians, and hobbyists alike, this drill handles common drilling tasks in steel, aluminium, and stainless steel with durability and precision. The Morse taper shank (DIN 345) and standard length provide secure, straightforward integration into compatible machines.

• 118-degree conventional point (point thinned): Delivers a strong, stable starting cut and is easy to re-sharpen, helping you maintain sharpness and extend tool life between contacts with the workpiece.
• Steam oxide finish: Reduces friction and prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge, promoting cleaner holes and smoother operation over time.
• Patented Silver ring: Clear indication of drill diameter and proof of genuine Dormer product, giving you confidence in measurements and performance.

This drill is built to deliver reliable results in practical, real-world workflows. Its premium HSS core stands up to frequent use across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, while the direct-spindle compatible Morse taper shank minimizes setup time and downtime. Use it with standard drilling rigs that accept DIN 345 shanks for predictable, repeatable holes—every project, every day.
