Description
The VCOIL Plug Gauge is a precision thread gauge designed for Helicoil insert testing, built to verify UNF (STI) right-hand threads against ANSI/ASME standards. It combines go and no-go functionality in a single tool for quick, reliable pass/fail checks.
- Thread system: UNF (STI) right-hand threads aligned with ANSI/ASME standards for accurate compatibility checks
- Go/No-Go design: Integrated go plug gauge and no-go plug gauge to confirm both minimum and maximum thread engagement
- Scrap indicator: Scrap side is clearly marked with a red ring for immediate identification
- Go end test: Go end must screw into the threaded portion by hand without excessive force
- No-Go limit: No-Go side should not be screwed in more than two turns under normal use
- Size and tolerance: No. 4 x 48, 2B class, indicating the specific size and class suitable for the intended thread
- Orientation: Right Hand
- Construction cues: Durable, knurled body with dual threaded ends designed for ease of handling and repeated use
- Temperature reference: Parts and gauges are referenced to 20°C to ensure consistent measurements
This gauge supports precise quality control in manufacturing and repair environments where Helicoil inserts are common. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
