Description
The VCOIL Plug Gauge is a precision Helicoil gauge designed for UNF (STI) thread checks, tailored for right-hand 5/16 x 24 applications. Manufactured and assessed to ANSI/ASME standards, it provides reliable go/no-go verification to ensure threaded holes meet exacting requirements.
- Combination go/no-go plug gauge: integrates both ends into one tool—the go end threads into the hole by hand, while the scrap (no-go) end should not turn in more than two turns.
- ANSI/ASME compliant: manufactured and inspected in accordance with relevant American standards for thread gauges.
- UNF thread form (5/16 x 24): precise fine-thread specification used for helicoil insert applications.
- Right-Hand orientation: designed for standard right-hand threaded holes and inserts.
- 2B tolerance/class: specified tolerance/class for consistent internal thread checks.
- Red-scrap marking: scrap side is clearly marked with a red ring for quick identification of non-conforming threads.
- 20°C reference temperature: calibrated with a standard reference temperature to maintain measurement consistency.
- Knurled grip and intuitive design: easy to handle and align during inspection, with a textured body for confident operation.
