Description
A precision UNF thread plug gauge built for Helicoil/STI applications. This right-hand gauge combines go and no-go checks to verify thread quality to ANSI/ASME standards, helping you ensure reliable fastener performance.
- Go/No-Go thread limit gauge: a single tool that assesses both the ability to start the thread by hand and the maximum acceptable depth of engagement.
- Thread compatibility: designed for No. 10 x 32 UNF threads, with a right-hand orientation.
- Right Hand: dedicated for correct use with standard right-hand threaded parts.
- 2B grade: manufactured to meet the 2B specification for consistent inspection results.
- Red scrap ring: clearly marks the scrap side to prevent misinterpretation during gauging.
- ANSI/ASME compliant: manufactured and inspected according to relevant American National Standards Institute standards for thread gauges.
- Temperature reference: reference parts and gauges at 20°C to maintain consistency in measurements.
The go end should thread into the part’s cut thread by hand without excessive force. If it won’t screw in, the thread fails to meet the required standard. The scrap end must not be screwed in more than two turns under normal use; exceeding this limit indicates non-conformance. This gauge supports precise, repeatable inspection, helping you confirm thread quality before assembly or repair.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
