Widin Carbide Square End Mill for Mold & Die — 4 Flute Variable is a high-performance carbide end mill designed for precision mold and die machining. It covers a wide cutting diameter range from 0.8 mm to 25.0 mm, giving you a single tool capable of pocketing, profiling, and contouring across multiple tasks while maintaining tight dimensional control. The four-flute, variable-index design is engineered to balance material removal with finishing capability for reliable, repeatable results.
- Ultra-tight diameter tolerance: Maintains precise cuts with a tolerance of +0/-0.03 mm, ensuring repeatable accuracy across setups and parts.
- Variable-index 4-flute design with optimized helix: Reduces chatter and vibration (29° on the first flute, 31° on the second) for smoother cuts, better surface finish, and longer tool life.
- W-coated carbide for enhanced wear resistance: Delivers durable performance in mold/die work and hard steels up to 55 HRc, including pre-hardened, alloy, and carbon steels, with extended tool life.
