The Widin Carbide Square End Mill is a precision tool designed for mold and die work. With a 3 mm cutting diameter and a 4-flute variable-index design, it delivers accurate, smooth cuts in pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel, backed by a durable W coating for longer tool life.
- Exact 3 mm cutting diameter with tight tolerance: Maintains a consistent cut size with a tolerance of +0/-0.03 mm, delivering repeatable results and reducing finishing work.
- Variable-index, 4-flute geometry with optimized helix: First flute at 29°, second at 31°, which minimizes chatter, improves surface finish, and extends tool life during challenging mold-and-die passes.
- W-coated carbide for durability and stability: Hardened coating boosts wear resistance and cutting stability, especially on mold and die tasks below 55 HRc and on pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel.
