Description
The Widin Carbide Square End Mill for Mold & Die is a high-performance cutting tool designed for precision machining in mold and die work. This 6 mm, 4-flute end mill uses a variable-index design with a dual helix (29° for the first flute, 31° for the second) to deliver smooth, accurate cuts and longer tool life.
- Variable-index flute design: Reduces chatter and vibration for smoother cuts and longer tool life.
- Wide cutting diameter range (0.8–25.0 mm): Enables roughing to finishing tasks with a single tool, reducing tool changes and setup time.
- W-coated carbide with tight tolerance: Provides excellent wear resistance, precise sizing (+0/−0.03 mm), and stable performance on mold/die work and steels below 55 HRc.
This end mill is crafted for reliable performance on mold and die components, as well as pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel. The combination of premium materials, coating, and carefully engineered flute geometry helps you achieve consistent cavity finishes, tighter tolerances, and improved productivity across demanding milling tasks.
