Description
The Widin carbide square end mill is a high-performance cutting tool designed for mold and die machining. Built from premium carbide and finished for reliable durability, it delivers precise material removal and consistent results across demanding applications.
Designed for versatility, it covers a cutting diameter range from 1.0 mm to 20.0 mm with a tight tolerance of +0/−0.03 mm. Its variable-index four-flute geometry, featuring 29° and 31° helix angles, reduces chatter and resonance for steadier cuts and longer tool life. A specially designed gash tooth shape helps prevent flute chipping, ensuring durable performance across tough jobs. It is suitable for materials below 55 HRc, including pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel.
- Variable-index four-flute geometry for smooth, stable cutting: The alternating flute spacing and dual-helix angles minimize vibration, enabling faster material removal with lower heat and a longer, more reliable tool life.
- Gash tooth design to resist flute chipping: The optimized tooth geometry reduces edge damage during aggressive passes, delivering durable performance and consistent results in mold-and-die work.
- Coated, high-quality carbide for longevity: A W coating combined with premium carbide enhances wear resistance and heat management, improving tool life when machining tough steels and other hard materials.
