The Widin Carbide Square End Mill for Mold & Die is a high-performance carbide cutter designed to deliver precise pockets, slots, and contours in mold making and die work. With a nominal size of 6 mm x 15 mm and a cutting diameter range of 1.0 mm to 20.0 mm, it adapts to a wide range of workpieces while maintaining tight tolerances (+0/-0.03 mm). This tool is ideal for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists who demand dependable results across hardened steels and alloys.
Its four-flute, variable-index geometry uses dual helix angles of 29° and 31° to minimize chatter, reduce vibration, and extend tool life. The gash tooth shape helps prevent flute chipping during demanding cuts, while the W coating boosts wear resistance and longevity.
- Broad diameter range (1.0–20.0 mm) with tight tolerance: Enables one tool to tackle multiple feature sizes, reducing tool changes and improving dimensional accuracy across jobs.
