The Widin Carbide Square End Mill (WXE504) is a high‑performance cutting tool tailored for mold and die machining. Designed for professionals and serious hobbyists, it delivers precise, stable cutting with long tool life across a range of workpiece sizes. Sized at 3 mm x 10 mm, this end mill combines compact form with robust carbide construction, and it supports a cutting diameter range from 1.0 mm to 20.0 mm with a tight tolerance of +0/-0.03 mm to ensure consistent results in demanding applications.
- Variable index flutes for smoother, more stable cutting: Dual helix angles of 29° and 31° reduce chatter and resonance, improving cutting stability, extending tool life, and delivering consistent finishes on hard materials.
- Gash tooth design to prevent flute chipping: A specialized tooth geometry keeps the cutting edges intact under heavy cuts, enhancing durability and reducing the risk of damaged flutes during mold and die work.
- W coating for enhanced wear resistance: The durable coating lowers friction and maintains edge sharpness longer, supporting reliable performance when machining materials below 55 HRc, including pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel.
