The Widin Carbide Square End Mill for Mold & Die is a purpose-built cutting tool designed to excel in demanding mold and die work. Built for durability, this 4-flute carbide end mill features a square tip and a compact 12 mm diameter by 26 mm length, ready to tackle pocketing, contouring, and finishing tasks with confidence.
Engineered for versatility, it accommodates a cutting diameter range from 1.0 mm to 20.0 mm with a precise +0/−0.03 mm tolerance, ensuring consistent results across varying workpieces. The combination of variable index flutes and dual helix angles (29° and 31°) helps reduce vibrations and heat, extending tool life and stabilizing cutting performance. A specially designed gash tooth shape safeguards against flute chipping, while the W coating enhances wear resistance for reliable, long-lasting machining. This end mill is well-suited for materials below 55 HRc, including pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel, making it a strong choice for demanding mold and die applications.
