The Widin Carbide Square End Mill is a high-performance tool designed specifically for mold and die machining. Built with a 12 mm x 30 mm form factor, it delivers reliable performance across a wide range of workpieces, from fine detail pockets to larger cavities. With a cutting diameter range of 1.0 mm to 20.0 mm and a tight tolerance of +0/-0.03 mm, this end mill offers precision, versatility, and consistent results in demanding applications.
- Variable-index four-flute design for smoother, longer-lasting cuts: The flutes feature dual helix angles (29° and 31°) that minimize vibration and chatter, extending tool life and improving cutting stability for cleaner surfaces.
- Gash tooth geometry to prevent flute chipping: Optimized tooth shape reduces chipping on the flute edges, preserving edge quality and delivering reliable performance even in tough materials.
- W-coated carbide with broad material compatibility and precise sizing: Coated for enhanced wear resistance, this end mill handles materials below 55 HRc as well as pre-hardened steel, alloy steel, and carbon steel, while maintaining accurate dimensions across the 1.0–20.0 mm range.
