Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Threading - MIL - 60° Partial - K20 Grade - 1.2mm Minimum Diameter x 6mm Reach (Left Hand) is a compact carbide threading tool designed for precise internal threads in small bores. It belongs to a versatile line of partial-profile threading bars and is compatible with 55° profiles, providing flexibility in tight workspaces.
This tool is built to handle a range of materials, including stainless steels, with a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 inch) and a 6 mm reach. It features two coating options to optimize performance: BXC - PVD TiN coated grade for low cutting speeds, and BMK - sub-micron grade with advanced PVD triple coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting, making it suitable for general-purpose use across materials.
- 60° MIL partial-profile design: Enables internal threading in tight spaces while remaining compatible with 55° profiles.
- Small-diameter, 6 mm reach with left-hand capability: Minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 in) and 6 mm reach, plus left-handed threading for versatile, compact applications.
- Coated versatility for materials and speeds: BXC TiN coating supports low cutting speeds on stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40); BMK triple coating offers extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting for general-purpose use across all materials.
Together, these features deliver reliable internal threading in small bores with consistent thread quality, reduced wear through specialized coatings, and flexible operation across challenging materials—helping you complete precise internal threads with confidence and efficiency.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
