Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact threading solution designed for tight spaces and precise small-bore work. This MIR 60° partial-profile tool (6 mm minimum diameter x 15 mm reach) is compatible with 55° profiles, making it suitable for a range of tight threading tasks. It supports bore sizes down to 1.2 mm (0.05 in) and is built for reliable performance in demanding applications. Two coating grades extend versatility: the BXC TiN-coated version for low-speed threading on stainless steels, and the BMK sub-micron grade with triple PVD coating for high heat resistance and smooth cutting across materials.
- 60° MIR partial-profile threading geometry: Delivers precise threads in tight spaces and is compatible with 55° profiles, with a compact 6 mm minimum diameter and 15 mm reach to access restricted bores.
- Versatile two-grade coating system: Choose BXC TiN for low-speed stainless-steel threading (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40) or BMK’s sub-micron, triple-PVD coating for exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting across a range of materials.
- Small-bore capability with durable carbide: Supports minimum bore diameters down to 1.2 mm (0.05 in) and uses carbide for long tool life and reliable performance in challenging threading tasks.
