Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool – Threading is a compact, partial-profile threading bar designed for tight-bore work. With an 8 mm minimum diameter and a 22 mm reach, it fits where standard tools can’t, enabling threads in bores as small as 1.2 mm (0.05 in).
This tool line offers two coating options to match your material and speed needs: BXC with PVD TiN for low cutting speeds and strong performance on stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40), and BMK with an advanced PVD triple coating for exceptional heat resistance and smooth cutting across a broad range of materials (ISO K10-K20). It’s designed as a versatile, general-purpose solution that delivers reliable results in demanding, real-world machining tasks.
- 8 mm minimum diameter with 22 mm reach: Compact size designed for tight spaces, enabling precise threading in hard-to-reach bores while maintaining stability.
- Dual PVD coatings for versatile performance: BXC TiN coating supports low-speed threading on stainless steels; BMK’s triple coating delivers high heat resistance and smooth cutting across many materials, extending tool life.
