Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact left‑hand threading bar designed for precision work in tight spaces. Its 60° partial-profile geometry and compatibility with 55° profiles give it versatile threading capability for small components and assemblies where access is limited.
With a 5.1 mm minimum diameter and 22 mm reach, this tool fits into constrained bores and machine setups. It supports a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 in). Built with BMK‑grade carbide and advanced PVD coatings, it delivers smooth cutting, excellent heat resistance, and broad material versatility, including stainless steels.
- Compact left‑hand threading in a 60° partial profile: Enables precise, repeatable threads in tight bores and restricted access areas, with left-hand operation for compatible assemblies.
- BMK-grade carbide with advanced PVD coating: Sub-micron BMK carbide plus triple PVD coating provides high heat resistance and smooth cutting for reliable performance across many materials.
- BXC TiN-coated option for stainless steels: TiN coating supports low cutting speeds and reduces wear when threading stainless steels, helping extend tool life.
