This MIL-grade, 60° partial-profile tool excels in small-diameter work and hard-to-reach bores, delivering consistent threads with minimal setup. It’s part of a versatile line of partial-profile threading bars and is compatible with 55° profiles.
Key specs include an 8 mm minimum diameter with 22 mm reach in left-hand orientation, and a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 in). Choose from two coating grades to match your material and speed requirements: BXC for low cutting speeds, and BMK for extreme heat resistance and smooth cutting across a broad material range.
- Partial-profile 60° geometry for tight access: Enables threading in restricted bores and supports 55° thread profiles for versatile, precise results in compact workpieces.
- BXC Grade: PVD TiN coating for low cutting speeds: Delivers longer tool life and smoother cuts on a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40).
- BMK Grade: Sub-micron with triple PVD coating: Provides extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting performance; a general-purpose option for all materials (ISO K10-K20).
By using this tool, you can achieve consistent thread quality in tight spaces, reduce tool changes, and extend tool life through coatings tailored to your material. Its compatibility with 55° profiles and small-bore capabilities makes it suitable for precision work in stainless steels and other materials, enhancing productivity and confidence in your results.
