Description
Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool - Threading - MIR - 60° Partial - BMK Grade - 5.1mm Minimum Diameter x 22mm Reach is a compact threading tool designed for tight spaces. Its 60° partial-profile geometry delivers consistent thread forms in small bores, making it ideal for engineers, technicians, and hobbyists who need reliable threading in confined geometries. The tool measures 5.1 mm in diameter with a 22 mm reach, enabling deeper threading without sacrificing control.
This tool line supports threading across a broad material range, with a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm and compatibility with 55° profiles in addition to its 60° MIR geometry. It offers two advanced coating grades to optimize performance: BMK for high-heat, all-material capability, and BXC with TiN coating for low cutting speeds and stainless steels.
- BMK Grade with triple PVD coating: Sub-micron carbide core with an advanced triple coating delivers exceptional heat resistance and a smooth cutting experience, supporting reliable performance across materials (ISO K10–K20).
- BXC Grade with TiN coating for low cutting speeds: TiN coating reduces wear and extends tool life while handling a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30–P50 / K25–K40).
- 60° MIR partial-profile geometry: A compact threading design with a 5.1 mm minimum diameter and 22 mm reach, optimized for threading in tight bores and spaces; compatible with 55° profiles for versatile use.
