Description
The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool is a compact, 60° partial-profile threading bar designed for precision work in small bores. It’s built for engineers, machinists, tradespeople, and hobbyists who need reliable threading in tight spaces, delivering consistent starts and finishes in miniature parts.
Designed for versatility, this tool line supports two high-performance grades. BMK offers extreme heat resistance and smooth cutting for broad material compatibility, while BXC with a PVD TiN coating provides low-friction performance at lower speeds. With a minimum bore diameter of 1.2 mm (0.05 in) and compatibility with 55° profiles, it’s ready for micro-threading across stainless steels and other materials.
- 60° partial-profile threading for tight bores: Access micro-sized threads in bores as small as 1.2 mm (0.05 in) and work with 55° profiles for accurate starts and finishes.
- BMK grade with triple PVD coating: Sub-micron construction delivers extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting for reliable performance across a wide range of materials.
- BXC TiN-coated grade for low cutting speeds: PVD TiN coating reduces friction at low speeds, extending tool life while performing well on stainless steels and other alloys.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
