Dormer Pramet R467 4.20 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-M STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R467 4.20 mm carbide drill is a precision cutting tool designed for stainless steel and other heat‑resistant alloys. With a 4.20 mm diameter and a short DIN 6537 K shank (short-series X3D), it’s ideal for machines with limited clearance. The 140° four‑facet split point helps start holes cleanly, reducing wandering and the push force at the very start.

Built for demanding applications, this drill uses a Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) coating and premium carbide to deliver longer tool life and consistent, high‑quality holes, even at higher speeds and feeds. It’s designed to achieve tight hole tolerances (H9) in challenging materials, making it a reliable choice for precision work.

• 140° four‑facet split point: delivers self‑centering starts with reduced wander and lower initial push force for clean, accurate holes.
• TiAlN coating for extended life: enhances wear resistance and cutting performance on stainless steel and hard alloys, reducing tool replacement and downtime.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed: increases drill strength and enables higher speeds and feeds, while efficient coolant delivery improves chip evacuation and surface finish.

This high‑performance, short‑shank carbide drill combines proven geometry, advanced coating, and a robust flute design to deliver reliable, repeatable results across a range of drilling tasks. It’s a dependable choice for engineers, machinists, and hobbyists who require precise holes, faster cycle times, and fewer reworks in stainless steel and other tough materials.
