Dormer Pramet R467 6.50 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-M STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R467 6.50 mm carbide drill is a high‑performance tool designed for demanding metals, including stainless steel and other heat‑resistant alloys. With a DIN 6537 K shank and a short, rigid stepped design, it delivers secure mounting and steady performance in tight or constrained setups.

Engineered for accuracy and efficiency, this drill combines a 140° four‑facet split point for self‑centering starts, a TiAlN coating to extend life, and a CTW flute design with coolant feed to support higher speeds and feeds while maintaining chip control and tool stability.

• 140° Four-Facet Split Point: Self-centering start and reduced push force for clean hole initiation and improved first-pass accuracy.
• TiAlN Coating: Extends tool life and enhances performance when drilling stainless steel and other heat‑resistant alloys by reducing wear at high temperatures.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: Strengthened flute geometry and integrated coolant deliver faster material removal and better chip evacuation at higher speeds and feeds.

In practice, the R467 drill helps you achieve reliable, high‑quality holes quickly and consistently. The h9 tolerance capability means tighter hole quality with less rework, while the TiAlN coating and premium carbide construction deliver durability in demanding jobs. The DIN 6537 K shank ensures compatibility with standard equipment, and the short, rigid form minimizes chatter in confined spaces, making it a dependable choice for professional shops, engineers, and serious hobbyists alike.
