Dormer Pramet R467 9.40 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-M STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R467 9.40 mm carbide drill is built for professionals who demand dependable performance in stainless steel and other heat-resistant alloys. Its 140° 4-facet split point promotes self-centering and reduces push force for quick, accurate hole starts.

Designed as a short-series drill with a stepped shank and a DIN 6537 K interface, it fits securely in standard toolholders and allows fast changes in busy workshops. The premium carbide material, TiAlN coating, and CTW flute design with coolant feed work together to deliver longer tool life, higher cutting speeds, and precise holes with h9 tolerance.

• Self-centering 140° 4-facet point: Helps the drill start exactly where you want, reduces wandering and push force for faster, more accurate hole starts, even in tough materials.
• TiAlN coating for extended life: Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating increases tool life and maintains sharpness when drilling stainless steel and other hard alloys, reducing tool changes.
• CTW flute design with coolant feed: Provides added drill strength and enables higher cutting speeds and feeds, while efficient coolant delivery improves chip evacuation and surface finish.

This drill helps you streamline production: it starts holes cleanly, lasts longer, and delivers repeatable, high-precision results at speed. Its 9.40 mm diameter and DIN 6537 K shank fit standard tools, while the short-series body keeps setups compact. Paired with premium carbide, TiAlN coating, and CTW flute design, you can drill stainless steels and other heat-resistant materials with confidence, achieving tight tolerances (h9) and reducing downtime through fewer tool changes and less rework.
