Dormer Pramet R467 9.80 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-M STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

Designed for stainless steel and other heat-resistant alloys, the Dormer Pramet R467 9.80 mm carbide drill combines toughness with precision to deliver clean, accurate holes quickly. Its compact, stepped shank and rugged build make it ideal for professional shops, fabricators, and serious DIYers who need consistent performance in challenging materials.

With a DIN 6537 K stepped shank and short-series design, this drill locks securely in standard tool holders for minimal runout and reliable performance. It is engineered to produce high-precision holes with h9 tolerance, even when pushed to higher speeds and feeds.

• Precision 140° 4-Facet Split Point: Self-centering start reduces wandering and minimizes the initial push force, helping you start holes on the correct mark and maintain accuracy from the first cut.
• TiAlN Coating for Longer Tool Life: Hardened coating reduces wear and heat buildup, delivering longer edge life and dependable performance when drilling stainless steel and other hard alloys.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: Specialized flute geometry plus coolant delivery provides greater strength and enables higher cutting speeds and feeds with improved chip evacuation for cooler, cleaner holes.

Together, these design elements translate to fewer tool changes, higher throughput, and consistently precise results across demanding drilling tasks—from production runs to prototype work. The R467 offers reliable performance at higher speeds, excellent hole quality with tight tolerances, and durable construction you can trust in everyday manufacturing and fabrication environments.
