BaerCoil BSF Thread Insert in 5/16 x 22 (1 x D) is a durable, high-strength solution designed to reinforce and repair threaded holes in metal parts. Built for professionals who demand reliable performance in demanding environments, it delivers a secure, long-lasting thread engagement.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2 for durable, corrosion-resistant performance.
- Cross-section: Rhombic profile formed by cold-form swaging to maximize contact area, ensure even load distribution, and optimize space utilization.
- Thread size: BSF internal thread, 5/16" diameter with 22 threads per inch; length is 1 x D for balanced engagement.
- Mechanical advantages: Enhanced wear resistance, improved thread abrasion resistance, superior surface finish, and better heat and corrosion resistance than standard single-screw connections.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
