Description
BaerCoil BSF thread inserts in a robust 3/4 x 12 size deliver durable, corrosion-resistant threaded reinforcement for soft or damaged holes. Crafted from high-strength stainless steel (AISI 304) and engineered with a rhombic cross-section, these inserts maximize thread performance while enabling efficient use of space in tight assemblies.
- Size and type: BSF 3/4 x 12 thread insert with a length of 2 × D for deeper engagement and higher retention.
- Material: AISI 304 stainless steel with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2, providing excellent wear, corrosion, and heat resistance.
- Cross-section: Rhombic profile created by cold-form swaging to improve wall contact, load distribution, and space utilization within the hole.
- Performance: Enhanced wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, smoother surface finish, and superior corrosion and heat tolerance compared with standard single-thread connections.
- Application fit: Ideal for reinforcing threads in softer substrates and in high-stress, vibration-prone assemblies where reliable fastener engagement is critical.
BaerCoil inserts translate into longer service life for critical joints by distributing load more evenly into the surrounding material, preventing thread stripping, and enabling repeatable assembly and disassembly. The combination of austenitic stainless steel and the rhombic swaged design delivers dependable performance in demanding environments while maintaining a clean, consistent internal thread for fastener engagement.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
