Description
BaerCoil BSF Thread Insert provides a durable, stainless steel reinforcement for tapped holes. Designed for 1 1/4-9 BSF threads with a length of 1.5 times the hole diameter, it delivers a strong, long-lasting thread in demanding assemblies.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel (AISI 304), with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm².
- Cross-section: Cold-formed rhombic profile to maximize thread engagement and efficient use of space.
- Size and length: BSF 1 1/4 x 9 thread, length 1.5 × D for reliable bite and load distribution.
- Manufacturing process: Swaged wire construction through cold-forming to create a consistent, high-precision insert.
- Performance benefits: Superior wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, smoother surface finish, and enhanced corrosion and heat resistance compared with standard screw-only connections.
BaerCoil inserts reinforce threads to resist stripping and wear, distributing loads along the hole and maintaining integrity under vibration and higher torque. - DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
