Description
BaerCoil BSF thread inserts are precision-engineered stainless steel fasteners designed to restore and strengthen threaded holes in metal assemblies. Built for engineers, machinists, and serious hobbyists, they deliver reliable, long-lasting threads in challenging environments.
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel steel (stainless steel AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2.
- Cross‑section: Swaged cold‑formed to a rhombic cross‑section for improved engagement and efficient use of hole space.
- Thread size: BSF 7/16-18 – standard British fine thread configuration for compatible fasteners.
- Length specification: 1.5 × D, providing substantial thread engagement for secure repair and load transfer.
- Manufacturing precision: Cold‑form swaging ensures consistent geometry and dependable performance across production lots.
- Corrosion and heat resistance: Superior resistance to corrosion and heat cycling compared with typical single‑screw connections, extending service life in demanding applications.
- Wear resistance and surface finish: Optimized to minimize thread wear and abrasion, while delivering a smoother finish for reliable, repeatable assembly.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
