BaerCoil BSF 3/8 x 20 thread inserts are precision stainless-steel solutions designed to repair and reinforce BSF threads with maximum reliability. Crafted from AISI 304 stainless steel and engineered for high-strength performance, these inserts offer durable, long-lasting joints in a compact, space-efficient form.
- Material: AISI 304 stainless steel (austenitic chromium-nickel steel) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm2 for superior robustness and corrosion resistance.
- Cross‑Section: Rhombic profile achieved through cold-form swaging, providing even load distribution and efficient thread engagement.
- Thread Size: BSF thread in 3/8" diameter with 20 threads per inch, matching standard British Fine specifications.
- Insertion Depth: Designed for 2xD engagement to maximize holding power and reduce the risk of thread pull-out.
- Manufacturing Process: Cold-formed swaging creates a precise rhombic shape that enhances thread contact and space utilization inside the fastened joint.
- Performance Benefits: Improves wear resistance, thread abrasion resistance, surface finish, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance compared with conventional single-screw connections.
