Description
BaerCoil BSF thread inserts in 1/2 x 16 are precision-engineered stainless steel inserts designed to reinforce tapped holes and extend thread life in demanding assemblies. Ideal for engineers and technicians, these inserts deliver a durable, reliable thread engagement in a compact, space-conscious form.
- Thread size: BSF 1/2" x 16 — compatible with standard British Fine (BSF) fasteners
- Material: Austenitic chromium-nickel steel (AISI 304) with a tensile strength of at least 1400 N/mm²
- Cross‑section: Rhombic profile produced by cold‑form swaging for even load distribution and maximum surface contact
- Length: 1 × D (length equals the hole/diameter), designed for optimal seating and strength
- Corrosion and heat resistance: Superior durability in harsh environments thanks to stainless steel construction
- Wear performance: Enhanced wear resistance and reduced thread abrasion for longer service life
BaerCoil inserts provide a strong, reusable threaded connection that resists stripping and fatigue, especially in softer metals or castings. Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
