Description
BaerCoil BSF thread inserts are a high-strength stainless steel solution designed to repair and reinforce BSF threaded holes in metal components. Engineered for durability in harsh environments, they offer reliable, long-lasting fastening performance for engineers, machinists, and maintenance teams.
- Thread size: BSF 9/16-16
- Material: Austenitic stainless steel (AISI 304) with tensile strength ≥ 1400 N/mm2
- Cross-section: Rhombic cross-section swaged in cold-forming for maximum thread engagement
- Installation depth: 1 x D
- Performance advantages: Superior wear resistance, reduced thread abrasion, improved surface finish, and enhanced corrosion and heat resistance compared with standard screw connections
In use, BaerCoil inserts distribute loads more evenly across the thread, helping prevent stripping in soft or damaged holes. The rhombic, cold-formed geometry pulls threads tighter as torque is applied, delivering secure fixation under vibration and dynamic loads. Made from 304 stainless steel, they resist corrosion and heat, ensuring longevity in demanding machinery, automotive, or equipment maintenance applications. Ideal for repairs, reinforcements, or new assemblies where BSF threads require durable, dependable performance.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
