Dormer Pramet R459 9.30 mm CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK LONG SERIES (X8D) DRILL

The Dormer Pramet R459 is a 9.30 mm carbide drill designed for reliable, high-precision holes across a range of common materials. Its long-shank FORCE-X design provides extra reach and stability for deeper holes, making it ideal for fabrication, maintenance, and general machining tasks.

With a 140° four-facet split point, TiAlN coating, and a CTW flute design with coolant feed, this drill delivers fast, accurate starts, longer tool life, and efficient performance at higher speeds and feeds.

• Self-Centering 140° Four-Facet Split Point: Starts cleanly with less push force, delivering precise hole starts and reducing wandering so you get accurate, repeatable results from the first cut.
• TiAlN-Coated Premium Carbide for Longer Life: The TiAlN coating and premium carbide composition extend tool life and improve performance when drilling tougher materials like steel and stainless steel, while maintaining versatility for aluminum and other alloys.
• CTW Flute Design with Coolant Feed: Enhanced strength and chip control combine with efficient cooling, enabling higher cutting speeds and feeds without sacrificing hole quality or drill durability.

This drill is engineered to deliver consistent hole quality with tight tolerances (including h9 hole tolerance) at high speeds and feeds, helping you reduce downtime, improve throughput, and achieve reliable results across a variety of projects.
