Description
The Dormer Pramet R459 9/64 Inch Carbide TiAlN Force-X Stepped Shank Long Series drill is a high-performance drill bit designed for precise, efficient metal drilling. With a 140-degree four-facet split point, it centers itself and reduces the pushing effort, helping you start holes cleanly in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. This long-series drill features a stepped shank for secure tool retention and extended reach in deeper workpieces, making it ideal for engineers, machinists, and serious hobbyists alike.
Built from premium carbide and finished with a Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating, this drill is made to withstand demanding jobs and keep cutting edges sharper longer. Its CTW flute design with coolant feed supports higher cutting speeds and feeds, enabling faster material removal without sacrificing hole quality. The result is reliable holes with tight tolerances (H9) and consistent performance across a range of applications.
