The Y.T. Indexable T-Slot Cutter (3T) is a metric 40 mm saw-diameter milling tool engineered specifically for CNC operations using standard LNGT inserts. Its indexable construction paired with a tapered-polygon connection delivers repeatable center alignment and long-term cost savings for precision manufacturing environments.
- Insert Compatibility: Designed to accommodate LNGT inserts with a 1.6 mm width (Model 3T1635-2.0), providing flexibility in coating and grade selection for various workpiece materials.
- 40 mm Saw Diameter: Metric body dimensions optimized for medium-depth T-slot profiles while maintaining structural rigidity against side loads.
- Tapered-Polygon Connection: Enables direct arbor mounting that eliminates radial play, ensuring exact center positioning and improved runout control.
- Modular Shank Architecture: Integrates into the YIH TROUN T-slot platform, allowing swift interchangeability and access to a broader insert library across compatible systems.
- Engineered Chip Pathway: Optimized cutting angles and internal flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation, delivering machining efficiency up to 300% higher than traditional HSS or welded alternatives.
This cutter replaces worn edges economically by simply swapping out inserts, which lowers operating costs and keeps tools active longer. Tight center alignment reduces cold starts and trial cuts, minimizing scrap and shortening overall setup times.
