Description
The Y.T. Indexable T-Slot Cutter (3T) is a precision, insert-based cutting solution designed for LNGT insert applications. Model 3T2550-2.5 features a 50 mm saw diameter and an insert width of 5.0–5.5 mm, delivering stable center positioning and extended tool life in T-slot machining.
- Diameter: 50 mm saw diameter designed for LNGT inserts
- Insert width: compatible with inserts 5.0–5.5 mm wide
- Connection design: unique tapered-polygon connection ensures precise center positioning for accurate cuts and longer tool life
- Shank and insert compatibility: YIH TROUN T-slot shanks are compatible with UFO-type inserts across various diameters, thicknesses, and material grades
- Insert capacity per shank: each shank supports up to 400 UFO inserts
- Capto coverage: six shanks cover the entire CAPTO range, enabling nine different cutter types and over 1,400 UFO inserts in total
- Cutting efficiency: optimized cutting angle and chip removal design deliver machining efficiency up to 300% greater than traditional HSS or welded T-slot cutters
- Ease of replacement: simple connection and convenient replacement solution
This indexable system translates into higher precision and longer tool life, with the flexibility to configure cutters across the CAPTO range while maintaining quick changeovers. The combination of tapered-polygon alignment and robust UFO insert compatibility helps reduce downtime and deliver consistent T-slot machining performance across demanding metalworking applications.

- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
