Description
Engineered for precision milling operations, the Y.T. Indexable T-Slot Cutter (3TS2580-8.0) delivers reliable T-slot machining using standard SNGX and SNGW carbide inserts. Its modular design simplifies tool management and maintains consistent dimensional accuracy across demanding production runs.
- Cutting Geometry & Capacity: 60 mm saw diameter with a 7 mm insert width specifically engineered for SNGX/SNGW indexable inserts.
- Connection Interface: Features a UFO tapered-polygon connection that ensures precise center positioning and stabilizes the tool during heavy slotting cuts.
- Shank & System Scale: Designed for CAPTO-range shanks, supporting up to 400 inserts per shank and integrating into a broader platform of nine cutter types.
- Metric Specification: Built to metric standards, ensuring direct compatibility with international machining setups and part program coordinates.
The modular shank-and-insert architecture reduces machine downtime by enabling straightforward insert replacements without scrapping the entire cutter body. Precise center positioning through the tapered interface minimizes tool runout, which maintains tight slot tolerances and produces cleaner workpiece finishes. Supported by optimized cutting angles and refined chip clearance pathways, the cutter sustains higher material removal rates and extends usable insert life, delivering machining efficiency gains that substantially outperform traditional high-speed steel or solid-welded alternatives.

Yes! We offer Free Next Day delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 24 on all orders over £50 ex VAT*. We also offer Free DPD Local Next Day delivery on all orders over £100 ex VAT*.
We also offer the following:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 — £5.90 (FREE on orders over £50 ex VAT*). Order before 4:30pm for next day delivery. No signature required.
- DPD Local Next Day — £8.00 (FREE on orders over £100 ex VAT*). Standard next day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery — £12.50. Guaranteed delivery before 1pm the next working day.
- DPD Saturday Delivery — £25.00. Must be ordered on Friday before 4pm. Pre-12pm delivery.
