Description
The Y.T. Indexable T-Slot Cutter (3TS2560-8.0) is a precision metric cutting tool designed for efficient T-slot profiling using standard SNGX, SNGW, and UFO-type indexable inserts. Engineered around a 60 mm saw diameter and a tapered-polygon shank interface, it provides accurate slot geometry and rapid insert rotation for continuous production milling.

- Shank Platform: Covers the full CAPTO shank range, with each holder supporting up to 400 UFO inserts and cross-interchanging with nine distinct cutter geometries
- Chip Evacuation Design: Angled rake surfaces and optimized flute clearance streamline chip removal during heavy cuts
This indexable configuration eliminates the need to replace worn cutters entirely, allowing operators to rotate fresh cutting edges in seconds while maintaining original alignment. The tapered mounting system minimizes radial runout, which translates to tighter dimensional tolerances and cleaner T-slot walls. Enhanced chip flow paths reduce secondary cutting and heat generation, extending usable insert life and stabilizing surface finish across cast iron, steel, and alloy workpieces. Consolidating nine cutter profiles onto a standardized six-shank platform also simplifies storage, streamlines tool cribs, and cuts down machine idle time between jobs.
