The Y.T. Indexable T-Slot Cutter (3T1640-5.0) is a metric 32 mm saw-diameter end mill engineered for LNGT inserts, delivering a modular tooling platform built for precise T-slot milling and sustained high-volume machining cycles.
- Cut Diameter: 32 mm metric saw diameter engineered for consistent slot profiling and step-down passes
- Insert Compatibility: Secures 3–4 mm wide LNGT (UFO-style) indexable cutting inserts for straightforward edge replacement
- Connection Design: Utilizes a tapered-polygon mounting interface that positions inserts dead-center, minimizing runout and improving cut stability
- Shank Ecosystem: Designed for YIH TROUN T-slot shanks, sharing a common UFO-type insert footprint across varying diameters and steel grades
- Insert Capacity: Each individual shank stores up to 400 replaceable UFO inserts, reducing frequency of tool stock reordering
- Range Coverage: Pairs with a six-shank CAPTO-compatible lineup that expands to nine cutter profiles and supports more than 1,400 insert variations
- Chip Evacuation: Refined cutting angle and internal flute routing optimize swarf clearance, lowering heat buildup during extended engagement
This indexed cutter replaces fragmented T-slot inventories with a unified shank system, cutting down cabinet storage and eliminating measurement guesswork during changeovers.
