Dormer Pramet R458 C CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R458 C carbide drill is a high-performance tool designed for precise, efficient hole making across common metals. This short-series drill features a FORCE-X stepped shank (X3D) and DIN 6537 K compatibility, delivering reliable results in both professional shops and workshop setups.

With a 140 degree 4-facet split point for self-centering, a Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) coating for longer life, and a ctw flute design that supports higher speeds and feeds, this drill handles tougher materials with consistent performance. The premium carbide core works across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, achieving high-quality holes with h9 tolerance.

• FORCE-X stepped shank: Secure chuck engagement and reduced runout for stable cutting and quick tool changes.
• 140° four-facet split point: Self-centering start reduces wandering and lowers push force for cleaner holes from the first cut.
• TiAlN-coated premium carbide with ctw flute design: Extends tool life and enables higher speeds and feeds, delivering consistent holes in steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.

This drill helps you complete projects faster with fewer reworks thanks to precise hole quality with h9 tolerance, versatility across common metals, and a robust build designed for busy shop floors. The TiAlN coating and durable carbide core resist wear, while the FORCE-X shank and optimized geometry keep setup times short and holes accurate from first cut to final size.
