Dormer Pramet R458 N24 CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R458 N24 carbide drill is built for professionals who need dependable, high-precision holes across a range of materials. With FORCE-X stepped shank short series and a DIN 6537 K shank interface, it delivers consistent performance in production and demanding repair environments.

Featuring a 140-degree, 4-facet split point for self-centering and reduced entry force, combined with a Titanium Aluminium Nitride (TiAlN) coating that extends tool life, this drill is engineered to resist wear and perform on harder workpieces. The CTW flute design adds stiffness for higher cutting speeds and feeds, while the premium carbide material enables versatile drilling across steel, aluminium, and stainless steel with tight hole tolerances.

• Self-Centering 140° 4-Facet Split Point: Starts holes cleanly with minimal drift and reduced push force, improving first-pass accuracy and reducing operator effort.
• TiAlN Coating for Longer Tool Life: Hardened-edge protection that extends service life and maintains performance when drilling tougher materials or high-speed applications.
• CTW Flute Design + Premium Carbide for High-Speed Precision: Higher strength and rigidity allow faster speeds and feeds while delivering consistent hole quality and tight h9 tolerances across common metals.

This drill helps you speed up production, reduce tool changes, and achieve reliable, repeatable results. Its robust construction and thoughtful geometry support efficient workflows, fewer reworks, and confident performance on a wide range of materials.
