Dormer Pramet R458 G CARBIDE TIALN FORCE-X STEPPED SHANK SHORT SERIES (X3D) DRILL DIN 6537 K

The Dormer Pramet R458 G carbide drill is a high‑performance tool built for professionals and serious hobbyists who demand consistent, accurate holes across a wide range of materials. With a stepped shank (DIN 6537 K) and Short Series X3D design, it installs securely in standard holders and stays stable under demanding drilling conditions.

A 140-degree, 4-facet split point and Titanium Aluminium Nitride coating work together to deliver clean starts, reduce push force, and extend tool life. This drill is versatile enough for steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, delivering high‑quality holes at speed with tight tolerances, including H9 hole precision.

• Self-centering 140° 4-facet split point: Starts the cut precisely, minimizes wandering, and reduces the initial push force for faster, more reliable hole location.
• TiAlN coating on premium carbide: Delivers longer tool life and improved performance when drilling harder materials, while maintaining clean hole edges.
• CTW flute design for strength and speed: Provides increased rigidity and allows higher cutting speeds and feeds, maintaining accuracy under demanding drilling conditions.

This drill supports efficient, repeatable results across common engineering materials, helping you complete projects faster with fewer tool changes and consistent hole quality.
